Puzzle No 95 : Haircut

Postby admin » Tue Jan 19, 2010 3:42 am

A man is on a business trip in a very small town and decides he needs a haircut. There are two places for him to go. He walks in to the first one and it is filthy. Hair is everywhere, dirt and grime covers the floor, the man cutting people's hair has a HORRIBLE haircut. So the man walks across the street to the other barber shop. He walks in and it smells fantastic, it is perfectly clean and polished, and the man cutting people's hair has an amazing haircut. The man then walks back across the street and gets his hair cut at the first place. Why?

1) The 2 barbers cut each other's hair and not their own, which clues the first barber cuts great hair and the second barber does not.
2) The first barber's floor was strewed with hair, clues many customers. The second barber's floor was clean, clues no customers.
3) If 1) is true, the second barber gave the first a bad haircut - bad competition

The first barber has no time to see for his hair nor for the neatness of his shop as he is very busy with the customers visiting his shop, as he is a good worker. The second one is jsut the opposite to this.

2) The first Barbar's shop is chipper than the second one.
3) The first barbar is faster than the second one.

Very simple. The first saloon is always busy with customers that leaves the place unclean and the barber didn't have time to have his own hair kept. So he is a professional that our visitor has chosen to give a try.

The first barber has a horrible haircut (for himeself) that does not mean that he cuts people's hair in horribly style and he has a lot of costomers that mens that he cuts well. The second barber may have an amazing haircut for himself but he does not cut well at all because has no customer.
